Minecraft technology and tools
When it comes to open world games, it is always inevitable to mention Minecraft. Minecraft gives players the freedom to create a custom 3D world. In addition, it exposes powerful backend interfaces to users to implement their game or application in that world. More importantly, it introduces the concept of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) to the game. As a developer, you can purchase your own computing resources, i.e. Minecraft servers, to run your own Minecraft-based mini-game. Most blockchain-based 3D open-world platforms are inspired by Minecraft in some way, and we've already seen several well-executed products. Some of these products have focused on gaming and game creation, others on 3D social networking and asset representation (NFT), and some have provided a thin layer of 3D visualization while allowing the community to Add additional plugins to enrich your ecosystem. However, no blockchain-based open world has demonstrated the same level of user experience and customization as Minecraft. In other words, none of the blockchain-based 3D open worlds have provided a Turing-complete universe capable of infinite possibilities. A 3D world built entirely on assets is not the real live metaverse, but a new revolution is underway to enrich the community.
